Welcome to Food Days Seinäjoki!
Researchers, entrepreneurs, food companies and other bright minds are invited to Rytmikorjaamo, Seinäjoki 17.-19.9.2024 to shape together an attractive future for the global food system!
Food Days is a three-day-event, jointly organized by Into Seinäjoki, University of Helsinki Ruralia Institute and SeAMK, happening only onsite. The participants will create connections, learn about the future of food and be part of an increasing food community.
Speakers include:
- Mickey Gjerris, Associate Professor in Bioethics, University of Copenhagen
- Asmus Gamdrup Jensen, Food Historian, Kost Studio
- Sara Roversi, Founder of Future Food Institute
- Silvia Gaiani, Senior Researcher, University of Helsinki Ruralia Institute
- Elisa Kitunen, Head of EEX company
Key note presentations, panel discussions and workshops will also involve many experts of the academic community.
Topics include:
- the secrets of successful food entrepreneurship and pitching
- the ethics of food
- the comparison among food strategies across different EU countries (specifically between Emilia Romagna and South Ostrobothnia)
- Valio Food 2.0 project.
