These changes will also have an impact on agriculture\, food industry and what will be on our table in the future. \nFood production is facing numerous challenges such as climate change\, transparency of the food chain\, food safety\, lack of raw materials\, and reaching the global circular economy and zero waste targets. \nWhat will be Finland’s role and how Finnish food innovations and value-added products can be introduced to the global market. \nDAY 1 – Future of Food\nOn first day the future of food is being discussed by global as well as domestic food industry experts and stakeholders. Global challenges are driving the food industry to changes also in Finland. Which are our strengths and how do we challenge the other countries? \nFinland is a small player in the global food market and therefore our strength is based on strong cooperation. How can we further develop this cooperation between companies\, public sector\, research institutes and other industry stakeholders in the future and what are the tools for that? \nDAY 2 – Digital Commerce\nThe second summit day is targeted to increase Finnish companies´ knowledge about the digital business world to understand the importance of data\, digital commerce and new retail trends as the way of making successful business. Various presentations enable the audience to jump out of the comfort zone and acquire new competences.
